Hey people,

The comp I'm currently using isn't reading back what I type, and I'm not sure why. Furhtermore, when I go to the Start Menu and try to press enter on the item I want, nothing happens. Does anyone know what might be wrong and how to correct it?

Thanks,
Becky

I just tried to bring up the JAWS menu to check, and I can't even get that to come up! What the hell?!

Do JAWS repair or reinstall.

Have you tried restarting the computer?

Not yet; think I'll do that now.

try going to windows live onecare.com, they have a free safety scanner that will check your computer for any problems

To do a jaws repair if you need to do it, just run the exe file that the set up is in and follow the prompts.

Good luck.

Easier to insert the program disc and select repair Jaws, or reinstall it, then go to help and select check for updates depending on the version you have installed.

Check to make sure you aren't running a laptop keyboard and jaws thinks you are running a desktop keyboard, or visa versa.

Keyboards are somewhere in the basic options I think.
